2000 pts Tyranids - No MC's !

Here is a 2000 pts list with no MC's. So it's a horde list.

The parasite of Mortrex will go with the gargoyles, and this unit, with the zoanthropes will provide synapse for all the gaunts. The Tyranids warriors will provide synapse to the biovores, and maybe guard an objective in the deployment zone.

Only just picked up the nid codex so I;m not up to speed on it yet. That's a hell of a lot of Termagants!

I take it the zoanthropes are your anti-tank?

What's the expected role for the gargoyles and the parasite?

Yep the zoanthropes are the anti-tank.
Basically the parasite is protected by the gargoyles (he's an independent character, and jump infantry), and provides a fast moving synapse unit. This unit could have a fast assault role, since the parasite can be dangerous at close combat (rending claws plus implant attack). But any advice on this is welcome :)

The parasite with the Gargoyles might be interesting.

A couple of things I'm not sure about:
1. The weapon loadout on the nid warriors - you have split ranges (3 at 18" and 1 at 36"). They don't seem to be able to work as a team very well. What is their role?
2. The biovores. With so many of your own models filling the table - isn't that detrimental to you landing pie plates (or losing spores because they keep drifting into your own units)?

Thanks for the comments matt.

Well the warriors are the only painted I have :P but their main role is anti-infantry/heavy infantry with synapse.
I had a test game a few days ago and the biovores are doing just fine, the number of models on the table is not too much of a problem (or at least it seems to).
