Just need to get my hands on an extra 3 fexs.

I really do plan on taking this to a tournament.
Still editing the list abit though, making it as effective as possible.
I think the 3 Lictors I added will help this army, even escalation should work with 3 reserve rerolls.

Isn't shooting kind of completely against the whole Tyranid ethos?

It might be, but there are alot of hive fleets still out in the void that have yet to be seen, this is just one of them ;)

It comes from the ork region of the sector and it noticed that since orks have no armour to speak of there was no point in even going so far as to engage them in CC when I can just blast them off the table.

Shooty bugs are possibly a possibilty with the new codex. It would be interesting to see how this list works. Been a while since I've played my bugs.
