I'll have you know I paid for almost every single figure I have in my collection. And those I didn't pay for were not stolen :P

Admit in Nige, you're just jealous. I have more limited editions and rarities in a single box in my attic than a lot of people have in their figure collection :D

Next time we go I'll bring mine too - 30 odd penal legion, 5 human bombs, and the 4 40k zoats. Got the whole of the RT era IG command squads too including the beastman officer :)

All my marine ltd stuff is one-offs now, barring Sergeant Centurius but I'm keeping the blistered one in his blister ;)

Kleptomaniac. Maybe your right, I thought it meant he was a crazy collector type bloke. Not a robber.

I like how threads just dissolve at this point, we've had 3-4 posts on topic, then some bragging, then some mud throwing.. Now its time we got ourselves an edumacation

There isn't really a word for it (a long proper one) as psychology etc still basically poopoos hoarders/packrats as just a small subset of Obssessive compulsives.
But I guess we can make a greek word up.. lets see we drop the klepto/clepera (meaning eavesdropper/theif) but keep the mania.. we need a new word at the start meaning completist.. quick google (I didn't have a good education).. came up with
plenus
full, complete, full, satisfied, rich, mature, plump.
exigo
complete, finish, determine, decide, settle.
expleo explevi expletum
to fill, fill up, complete, finish.
totus
whole, entire, complete, all.
perfectus
complete, finished, done / perfect, without flaw.
peracto
to carry through, complete, accomplish.
consummo
to add together, sum up, make perfect, complete.
expletus
(part.) perfect, complete.

Of the above whole entire is most correct..
So Totusmania it is, I'm not sure about construction, switching out vowels etc etc.. but there appears to be a few Spanish users of the web called that, so lets assume I'm right. Just because otherwise I'll go on another page.

Although of course.. consummomaniac sounds pretty relevant since the act of purchaser is typically one of consumer.

This post of BS was brought to you by someone who had a kebab too late at night and is 40 hours no sleep.

EDIt in fact I've confused latin and greek, those prefixes being latin, but meh maniac is similar in both maniacus/ maniakos, so lets just leave it at that..

I think the only one that makes sense is consummomaniac purely because our collections are never complete... there's always more needed/wanted :D Everything else there relates to complete etc which just doesn't fit IMO

No No, any time is kebab time, no too late no too early.
Other than that, a post of scholarly genius and etymological detective work of the first water.

40 hours no sleep = doesn't show.
