well tabletop effectiveness does come in second place (or later) behind fluffiness, when im making these lists (to be honest, i dont know what i was thinking with 10 and 5 man squads * @ self* - GW's fault for polluting my brain with unfluffy box sets and the shiny-shiny).

it shouldnt be too hard to sell 2 spare Bloodletters, and in time GW should eventually sell Hounds in blisters (right?).

cheers :)

NorseWarrior wrote:The cool thing with combat patrols are that you can create a story, and your champions will rise to power as they advance through bloodshead and skull-collecting...

thats what im hoping to do: all these different lists im coming up with (and building, slowly) are intertwined, so between them they should weave a story as they are used.

err only pics ive got are from the GW website (and Warseer's Rumours Forum). ;)

ask me in a year (or 2) and i might have some pics of my own. :P

cheers :)

I know what you mean. My WHF Khorne army is base solely on the sacred numbers of Khorne. And my Deathwing army is pure fluff, and everything included has a reason to be there (supported by fluff) That is why I only play pure, pure Deathwing, no mixing in other shiny, shiny  stuff now available through the new DA codex.

Good luck with your combat patrol. I do have some old metallic fleshhounds (very similar to the once the release now) and some metallic bloodletters with swords if you need them... I have a 4000 point Khorne Daemon army from 7-8 years back... WAY too much models. Let me know if you need them to fill out your ranks while you wait for GW to come to their sences and release blisters... haha
