not sure where you would look for that. I've heard of Night Lords, and Iron Warriors, and Iron Fists.. so who are the Iron Lords?

Stops mine eyes bleeding- and means my local fluff nutter will read it.

And here is the background to the Iron hands (as provided by the other place to go for fluff, which didn’t have anything on the iron lords.
http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Iron_Hands

So basically you have 3 places they were in space and time, and a basic paint scheme.
The problem is..I have this grey area that other fluff nutters might be able to fill.
They are a split from the iron hands. But the iron hands were a second founding. I thought that second foundings were due to the big chapters being fragmented..so why would something post second founding be allowed to get big enough to split? (surely it would just be a lost company.. it wouldn't have the mandate to become a fully fledged chapter??) If no fluff nutter can provide a concrete reason. That’s a good thing to write about (since smurfs are always invincible and awesome the only interesting thing happens when they squabble and have a rift..which only happened the once (now twice with the blood ravens doing a dark angels in DOW 2chaos)

I thought iron hands were a first founding, with Ferrus Manus as their primarch?

The iron hands are one of the initial chapters, not a second founding (http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Iron_Hands and http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Iron_Hands). You read the table in your link backwards! Yes Ferrus Manus (lit. "Iron Hands"...not Iron Man as one of those links incorrectly translates) was the Primarch.

Kobrakai who used to post on here has done a whole load of Iron Lords.

Brain poo, Yes you are 100% correct..if I bothered to read my own links I wouldn't make such fumbles  (I'll try and pass the blame and say "I'm sure I read on one of them that they were seconds" )
