Caspar's Tau vs. Ruffian's rascals.

This is a battle report, fought last weekend between Caspar’s Tau "Inculcation Farce"and my reneguard (using the new Vrax list).
All similarities with any persons, living dead or daemonic are purely coincidental.
I won’t bore you with exact army lists (reading army lists bores the wax out of my ears), oh sod it yes I will.
Ruffian’s Rascals redoubtable renegades.
Command platoon.
Squad “Laughable.”
Uber boss “Spong Mingo” with power fist.
Lascannon and grenade launcher.
Anti-tank squads “Bodger” and “Badger” with lascannon.
Fire support squads “Luge” with auto cannons and “Toboggan” with heavy bolters.
Mortar squads “Ker plunk” and “Ker ploop.”
2 sentinels, “Michael” and “Winner” with lascannon and hkm.
Squads “Spooge” and “Scrape“, 8 disciples with 2 plasma guns and a demo charge.
Squad “Thud bucket”, 6 ogryn berserkers, one with power weapon.
2 “symmetrical” platoons.
Com sec “Pilchard” and “Stickleback” led by mini bosses with power fists and a flamer.
Militia squads “Big”, “Bog”, “Bad” and “Dump” missile launcher and flamer.
Militia squads “Stop”, “That”, “You” and “Twat” missile launcher and flamer.
Hellhound “Spot.”
(right that little lot cost 12 points, so the rest is made up of...)
2 gorgon barrages.*
Leman Russ “Kaboombadoomalopadopalopboombang.”
*These things were a total failure.
My off table artillery commander gave his men the obligatory pre-battle speech.
Sadly his name is “Commander Phillibuster” and they never arrived.
Caspar had some Tau stuff.
So, we took up the dice.
I rolled a 3 and he rolled a 4.
So, not only did I lose but he won too.
Must admit it was a very disappointing game.

OMG...do you have an early scanned copy of 6th Ed? You should try marines. You'd win on a 2+ (with rerolls).
