The trick to alpha leigon is lots of small units of cultist, and stay very light on daemons, i would not even use them at all if it can be helped

one thing to consider is not deploying everything as infiltrators.. an infiltrating enemy squad can mess you up real good then

I play an alpha legion, I love the little buggers, they're fun to play but can be difficult because with lots of cultists you'll be short on the ground, personally I'm taking 20 with an icon to summon 8 bloodletters to the gt in the uk, but am unsure whether it'll work or not since I haven't play tested them cultists or daemons.

I play in two ways I either always ensure that I have set strike squads that deal with specific targets and split their army or depending on how the enemy has deployed I sometimes just bulk everything together and attack practically in a columnar formation, this usually allows me to attack one area with my entire army and usually allows me to discount the rest of their army for atleast two turns, it can usually screw up someones plans.
