Okay lets have a book check:

I will bring BRB, codex witch hunters and codex daemonhunters. I don't have hard copies of the FAQ's for 5th ed to cover those books.
We will need the Apoc main book for the super heavy rules and of course codex guard and chaos. Do we have a hard copy of the plague tower datasheet?

Also, I will have dice, tape measure and one set of templates.

Is there anything else we may need excepting armies and objective markers?

We have chaos + imp guard codexes.
Will see what we can do re faqs.

Datasheets for the tower and cyclops are in the system as we speak, as are the relevant apoc rules (taken from apoc, rather than IA).

The only thing that springs to mind is I don't have apoc markers/templates.
We need the big flamer and the "massive blast" ones.
Can anybody help out, please?

Canoness Gaelicia felt the jolt of the dropship landing. The crusade had been diverted to this backwater wasteland in order to retrieve two holy relics. She had decided to lead this assault herself, leaving it to her lesser canonesses to continue the crusade into the rebel cities.
The rhino troop carrier had disembarked now and was leading the column to the relic site, the vibrations causing the incense burners to bob about. The comm link crackled into life. "Approaching target now. Green light in 10 rels."
The canoness's squad members started final checks on their weapons, and began chanting a litany of faith. The rhino jolted to a stop and the hatches clanked down. "Sisters, with me!" shouted Gaelicia as she strode out into the snow.

The canoness looked up in awe. A vast wooden tower on wheels dominated the skyline. The stench drifting across the battlefield was unbearable and the rebels had amassed a huge force. Why were they here in such numbers? They were here for two minor relics, not to fight a decisive battle. And there: five giants in silver armour. Grey Knights clad in ancient terminator armour strode forward towards the tower. Where had they come from and what was their purpose?
"Canoness Gaelicia to Brother captain. Repeat, Brother captain, respond." There was no reply.
Gaelicia looked around her. The fanatical zealots and repentia were running towards the sickening plague tower, following the silver giants whilst her column advanced to the relic sites. Shell fire began to fall, exploding with dull thumps. Priming her combi flamer, the Canoness lead her squad into the fire and smoke.

Batrep text nearly done, just the last turn to sort out.
I have the pics (about 60 of them!!!) and need to bang heads with Caspar to figure out what is what.

Hopefully it will make a good read for you lot!

The Hivefleet is map making as we do not speak and I'm still trawling through a gargant of pics.

Hopefully It'll be worth the weight, before maps/pics, there are 17 pages.

We deployed, I won, Stargod lost and Norsemantyr and Angelwing drew.

Oh yeah and a rhino got hit by a lasgun, but we didn't bother rolling any further, that would be like moving plague bearers, you understand. :wink:

Quick batrep update...

The text is 100% done and approved.
The pics are sorted.
The master battle map is done.

Later on, I'm going to muck about with it, to see if turn by turn maps are feasable/too much of a pain to bother with.
Still need to copy/type up Jim and Waynes lists.

Didn't get to play Stargod last night and I'm supposed to be playing Caspar tomorrow, but the armies are still all over the table, as we had to turf some stuff out of carry cases (so thats 12,000 points to unpack and then put away again... :cry:
