As a side question, would you even be able to place an objective on the upper floors of a ruin?

The mission rules state that an objective may not be placed in impassable terrain. Would this mean terrain that is impassable to any model?

For example, beasts, calvalry, etc may not move on the upper levels of ruins, so to them this is impassable terrain, even though it is not specified as such.

Or would it only be in or on terrain that is defined as impassable that the marker could not be placed.

The mission rules are not the only games you can play though. You can play set scenarios or just ad-hoc made up games. You can therefore have objectives wherever you like...

I would say TW you can put the obkectives where ever you like. A ruin is not impassible, the beats may enter the ground floor.

@KInG-agree with both, and yes the ruin is not impassable.

Have to keep this in mind next game with objectives and ruins. My regular opponent will probably find it to be "interesting", though he'll probably find a few different ways to say so!
