The old MK6 "beakie" armour has the left shoulder pad covered in studs. The MK5 does too. Here are the older armour variants:

Great shots there. Basically my entire army will have the Mark V/VI studs on the left shoulder pad. Interestingly enough, I didn't know if was supposed to be the left pad, but happen to have chosen that one anyway.

I have updated the pictures and included pictures of my new Chapter Master. The updates color pics shows better the color change from gold to red. I plan to further detail the figures but adding DA green to the Left Shoulder Pad(Maybe Both not sure yet) and the add DA Green details to the Chest designs where appropriate.

C&C Welcome.

Link to figures

Also I am trying to think of a name and some fluff for my Chapter. What do you thik of the name 'Angels Unforgiven'. I checked numerous places and have not seen that name before. I sure if it already exists though one of your all will know.

OK more experienced guys. I just got my figures from my trade. Basically everything looks in good condition. Paint is a bit think and will be stripped anyway from the termis and LR for me new scheme. My question is, the Termis are 3rd ed and appearently youd could load up the entire squad with Assault cannons. So I have a Seargent(Storm Bolter and PSword) and the 4 Termis with Assault Cannon and PFist.

How well do the new Termi parts work with the old metal termi boldies. to me its close(Obviously the new stuff is larger) but the scale still seems ok. The AC is way larger but the arm mount and the PFists all seem OK. So can I just buy some THammer/Shield and/or LCs bits and just mount them to my older figures bodies?

Let me know if any of you have done this and how they looked. Maybe some pics would be great also.

Thanks in advance

In the old list, and the current SM list, you can have 2 assault cannons per squad. 4th ed DA is limited to just 1 though.

Should be OK, my brother-in-law has one of the new assault arms sprues so I'll try and get some pics of how they look on a metal termy body.

Spack, thanks for responding to my insane questions

OK that sounds good. I have a new Assault Cannon Arm from my vet box, and it looks like it would be ok. I was thinking of ordering the Lightning Claw set and 2 Thunder Hammer/Shield sets from battlewagon-bits. In all your guys' experience with Terminators, is the upgrade to the Thunder Hammer and Shield worth it, what about the Lightning Claws? The default load is a Storm Bolter and PowerFist and I have the Fists(Original models) but no Storm Bolters. I didn't see that arm available from battlewagon-bits either, so that was why I was looking to upgrade them. I think its free to upgrade to either of those weapon options. Only the costs of the bits.

Thanks again,
jlong05.

Lightning claws are great in an assault unit, but I'd always take at least 1 or 2 models with Hammer + shield in case I end up having to face a dreadnought or other walker - nothing worse than getting tied up in combat against a walker that you can't actually damage :(

Even more updates with more photos!

Postby jlong05 » Sat Apr 14, 2007 8:46 am

OK. New updates on my DA Army. Still playing with the color scheme. I may stick to the DA standard. I really liked the shifting paint, but I am having problems finding it in bulk. Also some of my 'acquired' figures have been painted and it would be a pain to strip them (namely the Dreadnought and Land Raider).

Here are the updates so far:

3rd Company Master ' Tigris Mortanau'

3rd Company Veteran Command Squad

1st Company Sergeant and Assault Terminator Squad

1st Company Venerable Dreadnought 'Brother Joseph'

1st Company Land Raider

3rd Company Sergeant with PSword/Plasma Pistol and Tactical Marine Squad

5th Company Assault Sergeant with PFist and Assault Marine Squad

5th Company Sergeant with Plasma Pistol and Tactical Marine Squad

I will be out of town next week, but am hoping to get everything primed before I leave. Then hopefully a week or 2 later I can have updated pictures with colors added.
