Q. If a Monolith held in reserve becomesavailable, what happens to any squads ofWarriors also held in reserve?A. When rolling for regular reserves that includea Monolith and one or more squads of NecronWarriors that are using their reserves special rule, roll for reserves as normal. If the Monolith isavailable, it can enter the table following thenormal reserves rules as described in theWarhammer 40,000 rulebook. If any of thesquads of Warriors also become available, onemust now be deployed via the Monolith’s portalability. If one or more of these squads becomeavailable, but there are not enough Monoliths onthe table (yet) to allow them all to move onto thetable, the units that cannot enter will be delayed,as described in the Deep Strike Mishap table.

mattjgilbert wrote:Actually this is interesting."The Mawloc debate" actually has nothing to do with the Mawloc at all. It has everything to do with what you are allowed to do in a deep strike. I thought the problem was that, until now no unit had a reason to deep strike directly onto an enemy model so the issue had never some up.I forgot about the monolith. I think people have been deliberately using the monolith to displace enemy models for a long time (I may be wrong?). If so, what's the issue with the Mawloc doing it?BTW, GW will FAQ that the Mawloc can. The nid tactica in the latest WD, written by the codex author tells you to use lictors to make sure your Mawlocs directly land on the units you want them to without scattering so it's clearly the intention.
