Is it worth buying Enemies of the Imperium?

Postby BaronOfGrayMatter » Wed Feb 14, 2007 7:17 pm

I am looking at easier ways to make my army lists, but don't haven't figured out the best way to do that. I have received suggestions for army builder and Enemies of the Imperium. Is one better than the other? Or is there something better?

Thanks in advance.

IAL (Interactive Army List, of which Enemies of the Imperium is one half) is a piece of crap. Get Army Builder - it's cheaper, and covers all 40k forces rather just Imp or non-Imp. It's also updated regularly, and has an active community supporting it - check out http://www.ab40k.org . GW often leave IAL without updates for months, or even years at a time. AB also handles many other games too, so isn't just limited to 40k, and GW have on a number of occassions that IAL is going to be dropped at some point and they have no plans to replace it. IAL also has way more bugs than the AB files, and much less chance of them ever being fixed.
