Just incredible

Postby timewizard » Tue Jan 12, 2010 5:08 pm

The new Tyranid codex is due to be released on 16 January.
On warseer, out of 20 posts on the first page of the rules thread, 8 deal with the new tyranid codex. :?
I know they said the german language version is out and I'm sure there must be a few 'leaked' or advance copies out there, but I would venture to say that the majority of players haven't received it yet.
But that's not stopping endless arguments about howe the new rules work. :(
Just incredible, but maybe that's just me! :|

It will always be like this on any new release of a codex. The only thing worse is a new release of the main rules, in which case I don't check WarSeer rules section for about a month, just to let things die down.

I think he is taking this Tyranid thing too far.

Angelwing, I realise that a codex is made of biomatter, but you are not a Tyranid! Stop trying to consume all biomatter!

It's the quickest way to assimilate all the details and facts. Question is, will it go down smoothly, or will I get stomach ache?

Once it has been rendered down in a reclaimation pool, it should be fine.
Resistance is futile, it will be assimilated! (apologies to STNG)

Are you sure that'll work? Hasn't rendering been nerfed this edition?

GW over-powered assimilation though, I refuse to play against it.

Old nids, new nids, i aint bothered they all die just as easily.

The only thing that kills them quicker than my marines is my eldar.
"Crom, i've never prayed to you before, i have no tongue for it.
No-one, not even you, will remember if we were good men or bad. Why we fought and why we died.
All that matters is that two stood against many, thats whats important.
Valor pleases you lord Crom so grant me one thing, grant me revenge.
And if you do not listen....then to hell with you!"

It seems to be that most of them will be dying quicker this edition.
