lol i doubt it... i'm pretty sure this will be FAQ'd soon enough.

there are 2 massive threads on Warseer for this Power, and there is by no means a definative conclusion from any of it.

as it is so unclear as to what Lash does actually do, for now I recommend we side with caution and treat it like a fallback move, where each model is moved the resulting roll of 2D6 maintaining the formation roughly.

as for moving models in close combat when normally models cant be moved that are locked seems rather far fethced to me. but I could be proved wrong with a FAQ.

Somehow I dont think you can use this particular psychis power on models that are in combat as its a power that is used in the shooting phase. Normally if a power can target units in combat it specifically states so.

I dont believe the close combat statement either. As taumaul says, its like a shooting attack and cant be used to target models in CC.

All the other ideas are valid (with the exception of IC's, due to normal shooting restrictions). People are desperate to impose limitations to this ability, when none are stated or implied in the codex. And yes, it is overpowered as the few games I played with the ability proved. Wont be using those lists again in a hurry.

The biggest problem is the Power Gamers who will swarm to Chaos. Sheesh, when you think about it the spell makes siren look tame....

In the interest of experience for the tourney, i would like to face the lash army, and maybe we can all try and consider ways to combat it with our lists... not change the list, just tactically i meant.

The answer is simple, just kill the character/daemon that has it.

To be fair, in the three games I played with two flying, daemone princes my opponents (eldar, chaos and nids) did try and kill them. The Eldar army killed one of them by turn 5, by then it didn't really matter though

What happens with units passing through units or being positioned out of site?
Why do jump troops have to test for terrain but infantry don't? Arn't jump troops pushed back the same way as infantry?
From memory i don't remember anything about changing the units formation. I'll just go and look, I assumed you'd push the unit back as a whole ensuring coherancy etc were as original.
