I watched the aeronautaica imperialis game last time, didn't it have people hotseat so that they could get up and play other games and walk around a bit during the 5-6 hours in which 1 plane fell down.
(Only mildly serious I didn't understand what was going on) i thought there were murmerings of epic?.. (and previously someone else mentioned bloodbowl, Matt mentioend a giant coop game of space hulk...and of course tim will sit arranging his MTG deck)
Of all the above..I'd join space hulk (i could read the rules and bring minis), watch blood bowl and epic (and bug anyone playing fantasy with constant questions).

I think Elvis was up for Space Hulk. I'd play fantasy but that would mean bringing more stuff unless I went with daemons I guess... I suppose I could bring the O&Gs if I knew I'd be playing people... but again that means bringing loads of cases to the venue

5-6 hours for a game of AI? They shouldn't take any more time than a normal game of 40K!

Have edited first post, perhaps we should use this thread to arrange any non 40k games people want to play? I can keep it updated, with player lists for each game and what they might/will/can bring?

Off top of my head it was someone vs slate, with spack and someone else stepping in when primary parties needed a break..
Probably BSing about 5 hours, but I watched one game and played another in the time it took for the thing to run. (and they'd started it before I arrived)

I can bring Space Hulk too. AI games don't take long to play with a small force (say 100pts), but it did take longer with trying to teach the rules. We did play 3 or 4 games though, you might not have noticed

Not sure which day LH was planning his doubles tournament.. that might be the Saturday.

Happy to Play aeronautica with my Chaos fighters - I have a dozen or so aircraft (5 hours for a game?)

Happy to play spacehulk - perhaps we can run multiple sets - play all 6 games and then record what happens - perhaps limit the Genestealers to a single set of blips - once they run out thats it!

Is it likely that:

Saturday = doubles tournament
Sunday = challenge games of 40K and apoc
Monday = AI, spacehulk etc.

?

Yes, unfortunately. I'll float around, and if anyone is up for a game of something outside the tourney I'll be free if I'm not already playing something. I could dig out a copy of the Deathwing solo play rules for Space Hulk v1 I suppose, and sit in the corner on my own ...

Actually, I might be up for the doubles tourney if there's space.

I'm also considering taking the Monday off work and coming up for most of the day too, but it depends on how busy my work schedule is after the New Year.

I'd like to play AI (got IN and Chaos).

I'd join in Space Hulk if it was convenient, but that's not a big deal to me if it isn't.
