That's why I got one of these. If GW doesn't start doing something about their quality control, they will probably find people going to other vendors for the majority of their hobby supplies! Their recent airbrush troubles would seem to back this up. People pay a lot of money for this hobby, we deserve quality products.

I got mine here:
http://www.figurecase.com/

Although the £:€ rate was much better when I bought mine!

GW hobby equipment is poo. Every 'hobby' item at GW can be bought (almost) as easily elsewhere and you receive a better product, cheaper.

I emailed GW today about the SM Codex falling apart, and the same is happening to the Warriors of Chaos Codex as well (within an hour of bringing it home)....'we are aware of a batch problem with the SM Codex and the problem is with the heat pressure when sealing the binding'.

I was told that I could return the Codex to them and they'd give me a replacement. As far as the WoC Codex goes mine was the first they'd heard of anything wrong, but they said it sounded like the same problem.

I don't think I'll actually return it and instead just stick it in a sleeved folder...we'll see.
Just wait for the REAL Apocalypse.
Then you'll see SHOCK & AWE.
Amen!

matt, hold off on ordering a KR case for a few days ;)

And yes, they are good. I have 3 of the mulitcases, I had them at the AoS weekend - DK in one, Valkyrie in another, and Cadians in the 3rd.

I'm in the US of A this week so will not be ordering anything while here. I wasn't planning on doing it right away anyway... I'd just made a mental note of them for the future :D
