Just out of pure self interest, how do BoLS get the info so quickly along with all the images etc.?

Nah, and also I would point out some of it is that they pay attention to other forums (they like GT compile threads from warseer and B+C and occasionally get a couple themselves).. The warseer leak condensed helpfully by another user actually got C+P'd onto their site a microsecond later than I put it on here. :O
Most folks seem to have a guy who knows something..some sites like warseer get so known for their rumours they actually attract direct leakers..each time something comes out rumours in warseer actually becomes a Q+A seesion with person A holding the book in their hands (at present this is a user called veritably sane- if you want to avoid the discussion on warseer rumours one way to do it is to find the bloke writing out the codexs name search for all posts created by him- because they generally don't post anywhere else) but there have been many different ones in the passed)..I helped collate all the leakers rumours for the chaos one- that leakers name was "drek". The current photo images Bols has are standard prerelease blurb that have been doing the rounds for a good week.(I nearly included them in my thingy but then decided it had all been included in the text anyway)
Thats said BOLS and golden throne are ninja places to hang out and sharing and duplicating leak info with credits given is what 40k brotherhood is all about.

Some strange stuff about copywright (that I did read off the interwebs so may be completely ficticious) was that they are able to spout statlines etc..because the document hasn't been published yet and so therefore IP can't apply- I don't actually think this is true I think that once a beta document has been partially released (to printers and betas) that it has something similar to a patent with date stamps on.... but it seems to be what the web *believes* the law to be.

the reason I asked, as stated, as purely self interest. I am curently thinking of changing the GamingFigures site considerably. I want it to be more of a community site and considered encouraging people to post their own news and stories, blog style, like BoLS. But didn't know if I should be looking to compile a group of regular contributors, or encourage customers to do it with some sort of credit reward, or to maybe have both going on.

If I was to do that is that something you would like to be involved in Toby on a regular basis,or anyone else for that matter?

King: would help if your customer acoount setup system worked better :P
Create account - can't log into account?
NOT that your the only one with that problem, TerraGenesis does it to me too :(

Maelstrom games does a credit reward scheme, which is only worth doing if you spend a fortune there on a regular basis, so unless it's something spanky for contributing articles/stuff , don't risk it :P
IMHO

An expansion of your community side would be cool, as your bound to get free feedback on things your doing right or wrong. :D

Ahhhhhhhhhh, random blurb post on a Monday, can it get any better 8O

Hmm, not seen the create account and can't login issue; when you create the account you should be logged in at that point anyway. It does however rely on session cookies being enabled.

Ordering should be a little easier later in the week ;)

Possibly  But is is a nice comprehensive list.
I like the Thunderfire Cannon too. Wonder if you can fire any of the three types of ammo during the game that you want, or if like spore mines (fired by biovores) you have to choose one type before the battle starts.

To be fair to BoLS, they do get info that's ripped by Warseer too.

Warseer is no longer the - be all and end all - of rumours, I think it's power is waning in that respect.
There have been snippets that have come up on BoLS which haven't turned up for a few days elsewhere. They do tend to credit whoever they get info from.

They don't have this site listed in the "Warhammer 40K Links" though.
