It has been pretty quiet. We've only had 4 new people sign up too.

Maybe most of the active members here also idle in the #warhammer40k channel och ask most of their questions / discussing there?
Just a thought =P

I think the problem might be the sheer amount of 40k discussion boards already available. For example, I am a member on the maintainers site, Dakka, Warseer, Tau Online, here, 2 local boards, and a couple others that I hit once in a blue moon. I spend a great deal of my day posting on these boards at times so it makes it hard to hit them all with the same amount of posts.

Indeed, but the whole point of the forum on the site was to have a permanent home for things like that - in IRC it's so easy to miss things, especially if you're not actually around to monitor the channel at the time.

Despite it being a quiet site, I won't be taking it down - it's the easiest place for me to post my pics :P

I am not a huge fan of IRC personally. I used to use it a fair bit but I got tired of hitting the channel to find no one there or a million people that were afk. I prefer forums.

Sorry,
some of us like to lurk in the shadows.
Hence we don't seem to say much. :P
Though I doubt you'll see me on IRC, as I'm not a huge fan of it.

I do love the layout and site design, so I'll be lurking more in the future!

Once I get my days off I'll swamp the boards with all the crap photos of my stuff that I've done recently. Unfortunately, I can't access photobucket from work, where I obviously spend time giving more thought to 40K than actual work!

Hmm, thread necromancy. Please try not to dig up really old threads, this one was last posted to in Jan 2006. You could have just started a new thread :)
