Army Builder 40k version 5th Edition file out now!

Postby Spack » Thu Nov 06, 2008 7:06 am

The latest release of the AB40k files for Army Builder are out now, and contain adjustments to all races for 5th edition where necessary and the new Space Marine codex list. Get it now from

http://www.ab40k.org/modules.php?name=D ... ls&lid=115

note, this will not overwrite the 4th edition files, it installs to a new folder so you can continue to create 4th edition lists too if you wish. The 4th edition files were updated recently with a couple of patches which you can download here if required: http://www.ab40k.org/modules.php?name=D ... oad&cid=16 . Full support has now finished for the 4th edition files, but maintainers will try to fix reported bugs if they have time available.

There have been bugs already found. I would recommend going to the support site to report anything you do find. Additionally you are able to also see what has already been found.

The AB maintainers site does a good job of trying to keep up with everything. Just having gotten 5th edition rules added in had to be a monumental task. As AdrianG said, if you report the bugs, they'll get to it. The site also has a listing of known bugs.
They appreciate people telling them about existing bugs, it is almost impossible to spot them all.
@Spack-Nice job by you and everyone lese who works on maintaining the site. Thanks!

I do very little actually; a lot less than I'd like to be honest, freelancing has been keeping me busy and I haven't had chance to do much testing of the 5e files, I feel like I'm letting the maintainers down :(

Well.. I didn't want to say anything.

All kidding aside, even though you haven't had time for testing, maintaining the site and cvs is A LOT!. Big thanks here!
