Battle of the Chumps 2011 (9 & 10 July) - 40k, Epic & BB!

What is Battle of the Chumps?

For those who do know Battle of the Chumps is Flame On's annual multi system multi list event. It is a chance for like minded gamers to get together for a weekend of gaming in a slightly more relaxed atmosphere than a standard no-holds barred tournament; something we try to reflect with the somewhat unique rules (accept no imitations ;)) that see players gaming with several different sized armies, or teams, over the course of the weekend, together with a few slightly quirky and alternative missions.

This years Battle of the Chumps is being held at Maelstrom Games in Mansfield on 9th & 10th July 2011, and tickets have already been selling for the various systems (see below). If this little blurb has piqued your interest then you can find the relevant rules packs for the various systems here:

TICKET SALES AND INFORMATION

You will be able to purchase tickets directly online from the UK 40K GT website (http://www.uk40kgt.co.uk) under the BotC 2011 section: LINKY LINK
(I am selling them via the aforementioned site is that it already has a working e-commerce system that I control and so saves me hassle)

Tickets will be £35 which includes entry to the event plus lunch on both days and an evening meal Saturday.

If something sells out there will be a reserves list and it may be worth putting your name on it.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis, requests to reserve tickets will be ignored.
Harsh? This is because over the years some people have taken far too much advantage of my good nature. Frankly neither I, nor the other organisers, have the time to waste chasing people again, and again, and again for payment of tickets when someone else could have bought it instead.

Tickets are your property/responsibility, there are NO refunds!

If you are unable to attend Battle of the Chumps and have purchased a ticket then please inform me for registration purposes, and potentially if there are people on the reserve list I can put you in touch with them to sell your ticket on.

Otherwise once again this is you ticket, your property, your responsibility, and there are NO refunds!

I have been made aware there was a problem with the ticket site and it kept telling people 40k was sold out, that has been rectified.

As a result we've Just had a few more 40k entrants and I've updated the entrants list in the 1st post accordingly. Still plenty of tickets left for the 3 systems if people are interested.

None of my armies can meet the 40k restrictions. On that basis, I'm out. But it looks like it could be fun.

Ah well that's a shame guys. Would have been good to have seen a few of the AoS gang there just like the GT.
