The casualties count as long as they were caused by any follower of Nurgle - old Epi doesnt have to lift a finger. ;)

Tally of Pestilence: Whilst Epidemius is on the table, keep a count of all models killed by followers of Nurgle(ie, any Deamon of Nurgle, or model with the Mark of Nurgle, both friends and enemies) anywhere on the table.

Edit; Ninja's by LMtRK, but i Bolded an important point.

That might cause problems in a doubles tournament, depending on how they clarify things (room might be left to argue that models own by your team-mate are neither friendly models or enemy models, so their any casualties they cause wouldnt count)...

Of course, in that case one could also argue that games being played next to you count as 'on table' in the event of sufficiently large tables. ;)

I doubt anyone would be successful in arguing that in a team game your teammate is not friendly though. My point was that in a nurgle on nurgle slap fest, both sides kills count.

Thanks both.
Now second question, what constitutes a casualty for this rule?
Is it only infantry units?

@ LMTRK - I would think that in a doubles tourney, the models fielded by your team-mate are allies and therefore friendly models and would therefore count. I mean, you can't intentionally target your allies models, can you?

I don't think a vehicle can be a casualty. I'd always seen it as non-vehicles only.

Doubles... your partner = friendly.

I would want to count your team-mate's models as friendly for this purpose too, but some effects say "a friendly unit within x inches" or "friendly models get..." and some people want rules in place to stop such things from spreading into the allied force.

Re: vehicles as casualties: I agree with Matt - the rulebook never refers to Vehicles as "casualties".

Nurlge things should spread to everything. It's in their nature.

Its always tricky when playing with allied armies and definately something that would have to be agreed on before hand.. you could probably argue that you could put a unit of blood crushers in your allies land raider now that would be awesome =)
