GW have amended the Dark Eldar FAQ. Version 1.0a is now up, although it's a stealth release - nothing in the filename suggests it has changed, but the version in the PDF is 1.0a rather than 1.0 and the last page says "Last updated 17th January 2011". In a side by side comparison I noticed only 1 difference; the new FAQ has removed (yes, REMOVED!) the following Q&A:

Q: Does a Haemonculus armed with two animus vitae take
one or two Leadership tests when he kills one or more
models in close combat? (p60)
A: He only takes one and can only gain one pain token,
there is only so much suffering to go round!

Does the removal mean GW are no longer sure of the answer? Are they debating it? Or did the Del key get hit by accident and then the "convert to PDF and publish to website" key got smacked too?

Someone probably pointed out to them that the Animus Vitae is marked with an asterisk which means that you can only choose one of that particular item for you army, so the Haemonculus could only take one in the first place.

EDIT: Funny that they didn't notice this because it was right under the FAQ that asked if a special character was equipped with a wargear item that was limited to one per army does it count towards that max.

Ah, that make sense then - removing the Q&A removes any questions that having that allowed twice in the answer were raise. Cheers for clearing it up

I only noticed it because I have a ChangeDetection profile that monitors the FAQ page for changes and it emailed me today to say the DE PDF filesize had changed.

Click on the "text" link in the "Most recent change" bit near the top, above the "Monitor this page" heading, and you can see the file size change highlighted in yellow.

Does each FAQ have to be listed individually, or is just listing the entire FAQ page sufficient?

I just have the FAQ page listed, if any of it changes then I get an email. You do get plenty of false alarms though, as GW's site switches between French, German, UK, and US when ChangeDetection requests the page, I guess the change checking bots run from various distributed IPs so get whichever one GW's system decides is closest to the "visitor" request.

That'll be ok, at least I'll get a notification when the page changes. Up until now it was just hit or miss.
