Interesting - we got the opposite view coming across this last weekend, as the next TF Campaign Weekend includes the Grey Knights as a selectable Codex (Note: not Daemonhunters).

Last time this happened was when building up for the Space Wolf release rumours - they suddenly were a codex choice whereas all the other Space Marine Legions in the Pre-Heresy had to use the standard Codex (not a separate one for Dark Angels or the Blood Angel PDF).

So which will it be Dark Eldar or Grey Knights?
My money is on the Grey Knights.

When's the TF event.... because of course, you wouldn't be able to tell if the DE Codex was new in that time as well as the name doesn't change?

Same thing I said when this came up in march.. wasn't this common knowledge for the last 6 months.. and we still have the concept that possibly a hidden space marine thing may be coming out first (greyknights/inquisition)even if it rings a little false.
When you say around october time, do you mean..september/october/november (as known for ever) or do you mean october the 18th?

AotE IV The Scourging is on the 11th/12th of September and would mean that the Grey Knights would have to released in August to give people time to buy & paint the lovely new models.

I wonder if the Grey Knights codex might be a WD release, like the 4th ed Blood Angels. This woud allow GW to bring their rules, stats and points up to put them back where they should be in relation to Space Marines and Daemons, but not need any new figures or a full codex print run. If it includes options to bring in Inquisition units from DH it'll tide the GK over for a couple more years.

I didn't think my idea was original, but I hadn't noticed it posted on Warseer.

As to the WH PDF, it's been confirmed that Spain is doing this - Germany and Japan has already been for years, as well as the DH PDF.
