Postby LordMalekTheRedKnight » Thu Jun 05, 2008 6:10 pm

Hey all :)

just read this in my WD Online email:

DESIGN STUDIO OPEN DAY
On June 14th, the vault doors of the Design Studio will be thrown open to the hobbyisits and collectors of Games Workshop – you guys! Warhammer World plays host to all areas of the design process, from conceptual art to sculpting and painting minaitures, from playtesting new rules and armies to laying out rule books and supplements. If you ever had a question you always wanted to ask of the designers, now is your chance!

And the best part is, admission is completely FREE!

For more details, contact the Warhammer World Events Team or visit the Warhammer World blog:

Rules seminars? Possibly about the 5th ed rules? I would love to fly over there for it, but my wife will have moved her and my kids before I could get back!

Kmb speaketh in tongues.
Some that understood thereof did follow and some followeth not.

Some of those that understood not did clasp their hands to their ears lest they become confounded while some that understandeth not did ask "What of did our lord speak?"

Those that looked out of the windows were darkened.

"What would you have us do?" They cried in trembling.

"Fussed, why surely this musty be first! And so we shall do this before all other! Fusty, this must then be us, the chosen, the foremost! Musty, the command it is clear we must...Oh but do what lord, oh but do what?"

And those that had heard and understood thereof did turn and speaketh thus...

"Kill maim burn, kill maim burn!"

Welcome back from hollybobs mate! :D

Yar ye B%^$^£s, I thought that was almost coherant
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/fusty
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/musty
TO use in reference to someone who appears to be behind the times, out of practice, its a kind of age based insult, but it can be more commonly used outside of age related terms for someone who has just let the moss grow around them a bit too much..
I prefer the urban dictionaries variants on them, such as fustication.. the confusion brought about by trying to talk \ deal with someone who is "fusty".. So for us here that would mean us trying to get a decent game out of what is written in the 5th ed fun book (rules having been smurfised by smurffette so that whenever you have a rules query you must now say you have a fun query.. and FAQs are now happy packs  ) causes us to be the victim of fustication.

Thanks be to the Almighty!
Someone has finally pointed me to an English-American, American-English Dictionary!
As George Bernard Shaw said, "The English and the Americans are two peoples seperated by a common language!"
I will admit that I like the term "fusty musty" a bit better than my usual epithet to a given "stupid old fart". :P
