FW #207 - Valdor Tank Hunter, Inquisitor Lord Hector Rex

Postby Spack » Tue Dec 23, 2008 8:11 pm

Imperial Valdor Tank hunter

First up is the new Imperial Valdor Tank Hunter, an ancient design based on the Malcador chassis, it is built round a powerful neutron laser weapon able to make a mockery of the strongest armoured defence. Although more common in the forces of the Adeptus Mechanicus, the arcane technology used in their construction makes these tanks revered relics within Imperial Guard armoured companies, while on Vraks they were turned to the traitor`s cause by the dark arts of Chaos.
This fantastically detailed model was designed by Phil Stutcinskas, and you can see pictures of this baroque war machine Here
You can also find experimental rules for the Valdor for download Here
The Valdor is a resin model with plastic tracks and comes with all weapon options and both renegade and Imperial crew.
The Valdor is available for pre-order Now for release the week commencing the 26th of January.

Ordo Malleus Inquisitor Lord Hector Rex & Retinue

Also up for pre-order is Ordo Malleus Inquisitor Lord Hector Rex, first shown in teaser shots as part of our Christmas newsflashes. Rex and his retinue can be seen in their full glory Here
Lord Inquisitor Hector Rex plays a key role in our forthcoming Imperial Armour book for the third part of the Siege of Vraks campaign
Hector Rex himself has been designed by Simon Egan, while his three member retinue (comprising an Acolyte, a Mystic and a Hierophant) were designed by Mark Bedford.
Inquisitor Rex and his retinue is available for pre-order Now for release the week commencing the 26th of January

Valdor

Postby Herne » Wed Dec 24, 2008 12:10 pm

Just read the rules for the valdor - nice. No great shakes in terms of game effectiveness, but i like it fluff wise. As for the Inquisitor - homna-homna-homna! That's tasty!!! Shame about the ridiculous price tag really - £27+ for 1 model and a couple of servitors! Boo!
Now - Where can I keep that tank if I buy it.......
