I'm definitely interested in the book - I've got the Mig Jiminez FAQ AFV book which is stunning, and this FW book is very similar looking.

If you aren't aware of the FAQ book, here's a nice overview and review:

Sadly it's hard to find now, it's been out of print for a while. At one point sellers on Amazon Marketplace were asking up to $400 a copy, but I managed to pick it up last year for £30.

I have an Osprey Masterclass book for doing highly detailed armour models. Looks like this is FW's version, which might be useful, but I think the book I have will be good enough.

To be honest, there are books out there that are probably going to be cheaper that deal with Military Modelling - Painting and Detail.
Amazon lists loads of them
A lot of the stuff in that book has been in wide use within the MM community for some time, so it would have to be a good price to convince me to part with cash for it :)
We shall see :D

Unless you want specifically pics of Forge World vehicles paonted in this way, the Military Modeller books are generally better on explaining technique and on the end result. The FW paonters are good, the winners of the Military Modelling Trophy are inhuman and would be subject to inquisition...

tbh i dont do any other models apart from GW, so seeing the work on them would help alot more to me as opposed to looing at a sherman :D

But GW stuff is limited compared to the real life schemes you can see.
