GW web exclusive scenarios

Postby timewizard » Thu Jun 03, 2010 5:37 pm

Just up on GW's site, 3 scenarios, 1 each for Warhammer, Warhammer 40K and Lord of the Rings.
Gonna take a look at them now for myself.

I like the blurb for the warhammer one
but Jervis' Warhammer scenario lasts for a staggering eight turns and harks back to the days when you lined up your soldiers and fought to the death

Yes, that day is today as the current rules are pitched battle only

However the scenario itself is quite interesting as with the 40k one too.

Cool although slightly disappointing, I can't remember why but GW's winter war stuff was much more fleshy..

Winter war scenarios

Winter war using the environment rules (e.g. introducing avalanches etc)
http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/conte ... 2a&start=1
Winter war strategems for cityfight, planet strike and apocalypse.

You get what I mean...I always appreciate free stuff.. but well it is just 1 tweaked scenario they used to chuck in a bunch of them in CA,they had a web page full of 20+ them (inc the normandy landing one which they could have dug out again)..Bring back the old web site for more content..still moaning :oldfist :oldfist
