I ordered mine this morning - FW's online ordering system is playing up, so I had to phone my order through.

Apparently FW are "upgrading their systems". What I saw last night and this morning was that the Actinic cart part of the site was miscalculating postage so when you tried to pay it threw back an error stating that the order details didn't match.

These problems have been going on for at least four weeks now.

Basically what I found was Actinic (which is a pile of steaming ...) is having some issues (load related?) anyway if you refresh the order or try to put it through again after a little break I've found it to work..

I pre-ordered my copy this morning with no reported issues.

I am not ordering just yet. I am going to do a big FW order once they get a handle on supplying models in a more timely basis.

I love the books but I wish they had a supplement for the 10 pages of rules so I don't have to place my very expensive books in harm's way.

Not that I don't get forgeworld or anything but......if IA apoc overides all teh previous IA and IA apoc has rules for dreadclaws and chaos warhounds...will IA apoc 6.2b overide apoc??
Why do the red scorpians turn up again (they get bumped up or nerfed down like the spawn and such to bring them into autumn release line)
I'll have a flick through the renegade forces army list to see if they put half the attention the best 4 or 5 fanzines have made of the LATD
but just all over paint me in a confused colour (probably black and gold - chaos undecided)

Odd, i tried refresh, and tried both last night and this morning, and it wouldn't work. Hmm ...

My order also included the DKoK Gorgon passengers (I'm going to part them out as artillery crews), and a DKoK Infantry Squad Firing (as I found out at the weekend I barely have enough infantry for 2 troop selections, and these will allow me some flexiblity with special weapons ...).

Ok loser :P , I'll be brief.Duplication- mindless duplication- what takes precedence and why, I'd much rather have more pages dedicated to the renegades than listing the land rainder (chaos codex) dreadclaws (IA apoc- which overides future versions :? ) and red scorpians (previous IA) as filler. (unless they are suddnley going to give spawn and giant spined beasts back their cool factors- underpriced over powered and on my tables :P )

The Red Scorpions get an update because the existing rules for them just use Traits and have a single Tactical Squad entry as an example, and as Traits are disappearing in the next SM codex they need revised rules to allow them to continue to be played. At a guess they'll get more squad types included too.

For the other stuff, it'll likely be a duplication so that anyone who doesn't have IA Apocalypse will have the rules for those units. IA Update 2006 was the last book with those rules prior to IA:A and IAU2006 is obsolete as IA:A replaced it. Having some duplication isn't necessarily bad - in this case it allows people who didn't buy IA:A to actually use all the units in the Renegades list rather than having to buy multiple books. Plus those units will get nice pics, background info, etc that isn't in IA:A or IAU2006. For the units in the Chaos codex, they'll just be there for more background info like IAv2 had for the Marines (it includes Rhino, Razorback, Predator, Land Raider, etc).

I've had the same funnies with ordering from FW, once it refreshed straight away, the other time it let me do it a few hours later (saved the list).

Ordered IA6 this morning and a Renegade Militia Command Squad to go with it.
