Modular Game Board

Ok, the fact that it's modular is quite clever, but using plyboard, polystyrene and polyfilla you could make a modular board for less than half the price.

Indeed you could (I think Ben and estarriol where planning such a thing). Some people don't have the time or ability though and will get this anyway.

Very true, but at least there's no casting process to go through. I suppose though if GW didn't think they'd find someone rich and lazy enough to buy the gameboard, they wouldn't have made it so expensive.
However, Wylandgames.co.uk sell the gameboard for 115 quid, if anyone's up for that saving
