The only funny I've spotted so far is Royal Court members that join Deathmarks not gaining Deep Strike.

EDIT1: Lol, GW ruled in the Chaos Dread's favour for Fire Frenzy

EDIT2: WTF?!

Blood Lance, Mind War & Jaws auto-hit, Eldritch Storm and Mind Worm don't?

And to top it off, now Warptime means you have to re-roll all the dice

I'm with Sami and his WTF?!

I don't understand how some Psychic that have been established in the FAQs as shooting attacks don't need to hit (Blood Lance), but others do (Lash of Submission). Hmmm...

Lol @ Warptime nerf!? Not sure what even prompted the question? However, after just reading the dex, it doesn't mention rerolling failed dice... I think a very bitter Chaos opponent flagged that one (it wasn't me, Sami, honest!).

Yep, they have nerfed the necron scarab p*ss take, any spawned scarabs have to remain within coherency of the original squad.

There's some really weird ones too.

Tyranid Hive Guard Impaler Cannon shoots at Ork trukk with a KFF. Or at a skimmer that went flat out. Or a bike that turbo boosted. Or any vehicle that popped smoke.

No cover save. Not unless the vehicle is actually in the terrain and 50% obscurred. Weird.

No real change about how they worked, they always could deploy in 2 separate locations.
All the last FAQ did was say you couldn't split a unit into combat squads and place 1 squad in reserve.
Really wasn't needed (the FAQ) and was more confusing than clear.
You split a unit into combat squads when they deploy, and units that are placed in reserve are put there instead of deploying.

Tyranid shadow in the warp actually works against vehicle embarked psykers now. Huzzah! We actually get a level playing field on this issue!

I've been very aware of this one since a weasel pulled it on me mid game about 2 years back..
(for those new to the subject here is a flashback)
(irrelevant bit)
People often cite p2 BRB "pick up the dice you wish to re-roll" but the second bitsame page "If you re-roll a 2D6 or 3D6 roll, you
must re-roll all of the dice" and the blast reroll of "the player must re-roll both the scatter dice and the 2D6."
are often not cited..
(also 6th ed leak clarifying how rerolls work..Its one of those bits where the studio blatantly went "WTF people game as played played nothing like we do!!!! OMG"
but-- this has nothing to do with the price of fish as 6 rolls to hit do not a 6d6 make, instead you follow the raw of the psychic powers overriding everything else (L. Malek styly)

"may reroll all" (doesn't distinguish between successful or not unlike all the other similar things I can think of(e.g. platoon command against cover saves super power specifies a criteria of "successful") You opt at a point whether you wish to roll your hand again.. there is no hold buttons available on this one arm bandit.
Pretty much every non chaos player I've met has been a hardcore believer in this interpretation.
Tis why I fell into the trap of always dual lashing and not falling back onto the warptrain when it left the station for a second time.

Rolling 3D6 is not the same as rolling 3 D6s.

The former means you roll 3 dice and add the scores together. It makes sense you have to roll the whole result (all dice) again for a reroll.
The latter means the results of the dice are counted individually so can be individually re-rolled.

I'll just bring this over here...
Baragash wrote:I well aware of the argument, and that in context, it is stupid. When GW mean "all" [every one] they include a specific sentence pointing that out (eg High Elf Trickster's Pendant or whatever it's called), they didn't, so "all" is clearly [any ones you want], and at 30 points, I should bloody well think so.

and add....
If they can go round errata-ing wargear for DA, BT etc, even if by some unlikely miracle that was the correct interpretation, there's no need to suddenly bust out the RAWbook on a crap Codex and apply a ruling that virtually no one has been playing.

You can now also deploy an entire infantry platoon including their transports as a single choice (for Dawn of War and other restrictions).
That's up to 120 infantry And 7 Chimera per choice.
It is also 1 reserve roll. And with Al'rahem the entire platoon outflanks as one....

Taliban Desert Raiders army away.

Yeah, took care of the scarab conga line.

Also, necron characters with ever-living aren't destroyed when the unit is wiped out.
But there's a discussion going on ever on warseer
http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=330086
where some are saying that if the unit falls back, an attached character is destroyed.
What does anyone here think?

I think that discussion is a further attempt to rules laywer and game the game. The clear intention(further solidified by the recent FAQ) is that ICs that are killed are not further affected by the unit they had previously been attached to. Its a simple matter of commen sense. If the intention was to have them impacted by a fall back of the original unit, why then would they persist if the unit gets destroyed. Its just so overall tireing reading those constant argument posts. It is why I rarely play now as I tire of having to play people bent of a tournament style of play. It just isn't fun.
