GW has mixed some colours with some white and added (back) a few more colours..(Fulgrim pink)

Meh..I'm still coat d'arms and mixing with white for tiny price.. (and others are Vallejo freaks)
basically IMO nothing to see here move along.. but you guys seems to need to vent a bit so ....

I don't see anything to vent about really, it's always good to have more colours. Yes you could just add white to the colour but this way you will always have the same colour.

I only come to this place to lurk the negative nancys :D..I just wanna belong. :3some

Its not like they ditched all their pastel colours.. and are now making a big deal about reintroducing it whilst the other manufacturers just carried on making the same colours throughout or anything.. :?

But yes more choice is good, and the not forcing them as a humougously expensive boxset (as was originally billed in nov) is a good thing- I'll just keep buying the way GW forced me to when they ditched them first time round.

Picked up the box set of these back at christmas time. Been too busy with work to give them a try unfortunately. I can see me using them quite a bit when painting my dreadball teams though.

I think I'll have to see them in person. They don't look like something I'd pick up and use but you never know.

Paint is paint - some brands are better than others and some formulas *might* be more conducive to certain effects - but with a bit of thinners, or a bit of drying ANY paint can work well - it just takes practice and experience. Now if they wanna impress me - they should lower the f***ing price.

I don't see the point in them, or in them going from 70 odd to 140 odd paints. I can't do any more or less now, that I could or couldn't do a year ago.

I've pretty much switched over to Vallejo.
Of course a lot of those are airbrush paints.
Still like some of the GW foundation, but these paints just look like too much catering to the 'eavy metal crew and not necessarily the end users like us!
