:flipando But I don't think they are going to be able to access the side hatch through those tracks!

:rofl Which variant?
I can see it now, "Dear Santa, I don't want no pony, no train set, heck I don't even want my two front teeth. (All together now)
All I want for Christmas is a Big Land Raider, a Big Land Raider, a Big Land Raider!"

TBH Culven, I want one too 8)

10 normal men, or 10 8' tall men in power armor?
I don't think either one!

What are they using as the base vehicle for this conversion? I can't tell enough from the pics to identify it.

As for the variant, I think that a Prometheus would be sufficient. The Godhammer Lascannons may be a bit fiddly with current tech, so I would be happy with a moder version of Heavy Bolters in the sponsons. What would eb the modern version of a Heavy Bolter? Something close to .75 cal...20mm chain guns? The only 20mm "machine gun" I can find is the M61 Vulcan, but that is more of an Assault Cannon.

Besides, I bet the Prometheus has great satelite television reception. I think a Land Raider Prometheus could make my commute to work much more interesting. I bet fewer people will try to cut me off, and those who do, well I can always touch up the scratched in my paint. I don't think they will be able to buff out "smashed".

This is from THQ's site; http://www.thq-games.com/uk/features/show/4090
"This ambitious project will see a British army FV432 tank go under the knife. Used by armed forces around the world since 1960, the FV432 weighs 15.3 tons and is designed to carry twelve equipped troops into battle. We won’t be filling this Dawn Of War II tank conversion with Space Marines, but we will be making use of this generous interior space by installing a bank of high-end gaming rigs."

Here's info on the tank; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FV432

Interestingly enough, the MoD has been buying back 432's for Afghanistan.
Apparently because of equipment shortages and lack of heavy troop transport.

I wonder if they are going to bother with functional side doors. I bet they leave the suspension and tracks alone and only do slightly better than just paint a door on either side.

That would be my guess, since the doors would have to go right through not only the tracks, but the suspensions as well. Maybe the should be made to call it the "counts as Rhino"

I wouldn't care if my opponent used a "Rhino" that lacked side doors. It is more of a hinderance for them. What would upset me is the crushing of my models and the game table when deploying a 15+ ton "model" on the table.

Not even apocalypse, more like armageddon, annihilate, adios, all over now!
I wonder how many points it costs?

I'm wondering how many Structure Points it has and how many companies it can transport. I bet even Warlord Titans will leak oil at the sight of it.
