Yeah that's a wierd one.
It counts as using a weapon, but doesn't count towards the number of weapons used, and a fast vehicle can't use any weapons when moving flat out except the void mine can be used regardless of the speed of the Voidraven Bomber. :5huh :wtf

Tyhoon
Sm-90, DA-75 BT-70
THSS termies
BA 225 SM,200, BT 200 (shooty version can have 2 awesome weapons) ,DA 215, but can score and can take CML TH SS and banners as well.

CML individual wargear cannot be announced on forum because otherwise mods would get told off by GW :roll: .. but DA one is much cheaper, the BT one is just cheaper.
5 termies with 2 cml is listed in my list in this thread.

As LH said landraider get a bit more expensive as new POTMS needs EA on top.
BT and DA have the points for storm shields for certain units increased. The following units have to use increased prices
DA company veterans squad (price up by a bit) All BT who buy it from the wargear section.(although its not a big increase) Into line with smurf vanguard and command squad, cheaper than BA vanguard and honour gaurd much cheaper than wolves IIRC..since that was the oh noes must hit SS on head codex,silly example would be a single loganwing (wolfguard+termie armour+TH+SS)termie with TH+SS would cost around 63 points-which is why you don't see that much.

GW should have just errata'd it to say the last line of the Void mine rules should read as "Note that this does not count as using a weapon". Simples :)

That last line was really unnecessary if it was supposed to count as using a weapon - after all, it's quite obviously a weapon ...

This is very good news, I can finally field the terminator army I want to, instead of being stuck with Logan Wing.

(I'm a bit disappointed they doing get redeemers, but you win some, you loose some)

Yes, the general theme is just to bring the common wargear across the SM dexes into line, but without any points cost change and no new units either.

This seems to be the sensible thing to do as it stops mot of the complaints which wereabout that very thing, and does so with the elast amount of change. To change it any further would have meant large and confusing rewrites of chunks of codexes.

As for giving them all Redeemers, or any other 'new' unit, that would just make the Vanilla SM not worth having or less of an attraction.

POTMS!!!!!!!!! Done simple for king.

Vindicators-
BT
Vindie EA POTMS smoke-163..
can move 12 and shoot, can in effect ignore stunned and shaken.

BA
Vindie smoke, EA -160
Can move 12 and shoot but can't shoot if shaken or stunned.

Chaos
Possesed Vindie,pintle bolter smoke,dozerblade 150
Can ignore stunned and shaken but can only move 6"s and shoot.

Predators-
BA
tri las predator with EA-195
Can move 12 and shoot 1 weapon if not stunned/shaken
Chaos
Tri las with possesion (lower BS!!) 185
Can move 6 and fire one weapon, may ignore stunneds and shaken.

Black templars of awesome.-180
Tri las predator with EA and POTMS
Can move 12 and fire 1 weapon,can ignore stunneds and shaken

Then as I thought Drop pods..although because of it raw nature the've been able to do this for ages.
Black templar drop pod- has POTMS +deathwind is 50 points (doesn't have to turn up in round 1)Can shoot when it arrives.
Blood angels drop pod with deathwind is 55 (has to turn up turn 1 unless you take multiples) can't shoot when it arrives, slightly higher BS.

That interest anyone?
