Also note that the first print run has the slipcase included, and the boxed set of 3 is £2 more than buying separately (although you do get free express postage). I've already ordered my IA7 here at WHW as it's free delivery :)

Couldn't help but notice that the book says Siege of Vrak's part III but the listing says...

Best i can find is that they are a chapter with strong tie`s to the inqusition,
Whick kind of makes sense given the way the war`s gone.

well last games day there were images of TLOC and you would hope that one yearon he would be finished. Surely the gy making him doesn't want ppl thinking he's a lazy bu**ar. So maybe it is close to a release date now?? :P yummie

Mine arrived in the post this morning :D

The box is really nice, an imperial eagle on the front and a chaos renegades star on the on the back. The book though is slightly wider than the other 2, so when all 3 are in the box v7 sticks out a few mm from the others.

There are no rules for the Grey Knights or Red Hunters squads - just lots of nice pics and background. The only GK rules are for the Redeemer and Razorback.

The Minotaur is pretty much as expected - the Earthshaker is twin linked, and cannot fire directly. It has a 7" blast though, so is a little better than a standard Earthshaker.

The DK Battlegroup list is similar to the IAv1 list - you can go all armour, or mix in infantry.

I'll post more details later once I've had chance to look through it :)

Ok people...it arrived this morning, I had 5mins to read it (hell, it made me late for work!) and I'm away until Bank Holiday, so apologies, this is the best I can do:

  • Greater Brass Scorpion = +1 Structure Point
  • Rex has 2+/3+, +1S, an Anointed Force Weapon, and a boatload of anti-daemon equipment - 285 points and can take 0-9 Henchmen
  • Gorefeaster and Jibberjaw are the two giant spawn/chaos beasts that have existed as models forever, didn't read their rules
  • Ang and Scabs are just reprints AFAICS but are DoC only
  • Blight Drones are 125pts, 1-3 per squad and can be taken in CSM that have at least one PM squad
  • Blood Slaughters are pretty similar but didn't notice what FOC, presumably Elites
  • Nurgle Guard list is pointed etc in line with the new Dex
  • Zhufor is a Chaos Lord of K with +1WS, +1S and an Assault 3 Bolter, he can take a Termie Retinue
  • Arkos gets minor rework as some of his gear is from the old Codex
  • Mamon has T7 and some DP equipment
  • Khorne DP has S7 I6, Iron Hide and Rending
  • There are at least Apoc datasheets for a Deathrider Company, Blight Drone posse, Blood Slaughter posse, the Purge, Malcadors, an Inq Lord + GKTs in LRs strikeforce, and a Titan Battlegroup (1+ Reaver, 2+ Warhounds)
  • No new GK rules AFAICS
  • There's a Nurgle Herald called Necrosius. I didn't see anything that suggested it was the herald that comes with Mamon (bearing in mind there's no Khorne name Herald). His unique rule gives Plague Zombies Furious Charge :)
  • Plague Ogryns have D6 attacks strangely, and Noxious Touch.....me want!
  • Plague Marines and a 2W Nurgle Champion HQ are in the Traitor List as expected
  • Didn't read the Krieg Armoured Company at all - sorry

I brought mine to work with me :)

DK armoured list.

All DK have Hardened Fighters (+1 WS included in profiles), Iron Discipline (any unit falling back with a model in 6" of an officer can roll to regroup even if under half strength), Die Hards (no negative modifiers to leadership when testing Morale after combat - this is how I was playing them in 5th anyway, Yay!).

HQ:
Command Tank - single tank, all Russ variants, only BS3 :(
Infantry Company Command Squad - comes with a Centaur included
Commissar Tank - single tank, all Russ variants, BS4
Atlas Recovery Tank

Elites:
Squadron Command Tank - single tank, any Russ variant, BS3
Infantry Platoon Command Squad - must be transported in Centaur or Gorgon
Grenadier Squad - basically storm troopers

Troops:
Tank Squadron - 1-3 Russ variants
Infantry Squad - up to 5 as a single FOC choice

Fast Attack:
Hellhound - single tank, no options for Devil Dog/Bane Wolf
Death Rider Squadron
Cyclops

Heavy Support:
Destroyer
Thunderer
Ordance Battery - 1-3 Basilisk/Medusa/Griffon/Collusus
Artillery Strike
Hydra
Bombard Battery - 1-3 Bombards, S8AP3 7" Blast, fires every other turn.
Navy Air Support - Thunderbolt or Lightning

I think Baragash covered most of the rest of the contents.
