Space Wolves...

Postby AdrianG » Sun Jul 12, 2009 12:37 pm

Incoming! Space Wolves

The Space Wolves were one of the first Space Marine Chapters founded by the Emperor; fierce and barbaric heroes of legend who charge fangs bared into the teeth of the enemy. In October, this Chapter of ferocious warriors is being re-launched with a brand-new Codex and range of Citadel Miniatures.

As a newsletter subscriber, we thought you should be among the first to catch a glimpse of the all-new Space Wolves.

This stunning Grey Hunter has been assembled using the forthcoming multi-part plastic box set; just one of the fantastic new Space Wolf sets coming in October!
Make sure you check out tomorrow's blog and the August issue of White Dwarf for more on the Space Wolves.

The new minis look nice, I have just picked up some untouched bare metal second ed blood claws so these will look good together.

Will be sad if I lose my LR Exterminator.

Will be happy if we get a Land Raider with LOTS of assault cannons.

It'd be great if a space dog player showed up in my neighbourhood. Aside from being a rules junkie that devours every codex I get my hands on, I nurture a glimmer of hope that they'll keep the Exterminator and as such be forced to make the Predator a useful option. Which it is now not by any means. Myself, I've houseruled it to have machine spirit at 135pts for all lascannons, making it almost decent.

The rumours I've seen are that the Exterminator is gone, and being replaced by a Raider with assault cannon sponsons.

Welcome to the site Xandros. Always nice to meet new people.

I'm quite sure you will.

Just don't feed the members (particularly KMB or Ruffian4)!

Why not post in the "New Members" forum and introduce yourself?

It all seems to have gone rather quiet on the rumour front hasn't it?
I guess they're keeping it all under wraps so they have something to show off at Games Day UK in September.

In the meantime, I'm frantically building my own space wolves army in anticipation. :D

Old news, but it's an October release..
I've seen unconfirmed rumours relating to the codex and figures on Warseer and BoLS.

Some of those rumours if true would be good.. the others - obviously- not so good.

There's an update on BoLS with a link back to Warseer.
Enjoy

Yeah read it, thx.
Not at all happy with the idea of Wolf Rider marines.. sounds camp and c**p

Some stuff seems ok... I'll really have to wait until October I guess.
