totally off topic (and we are already off topic to begin with :P), but last time i went into a Disney Store (which was last week, in Peterborough), i was pleasantly suprised with the level of product knowledge and enthusiam - the staff were like what GW staff are like (just about disney characters rather than tabletop models). we were able to hold a proper conversation about the things we had been collecting, and they were able to make suggestions and point out things missing from our collections etc. they also had their own opinions on things, rather than just spouting company policy, which was refreshing.

my parents sometimes ring me from their mobiles to try and describe things they have spotted, and occaisionally pick things up for me. :)

back in the day i used to scout car boots for Action Force (GIJoe) figures...

Maybe my experience is out of date, I remember when pastel blue cardigans and buzz cuts were mandatory for male staffers and if you could get passed that you were a shoe in to the disney shack (alla addams family 2) but meh you get the idea even if the illustration was bad(outdated\unbased whateverz :P :D )
