A quite nice thread from the day I didn't go to (inspite of a few text invites ) Note the interesting dispute over rumours between yakface and philbrad...(edit- on diction)
I wonder if even GW have the latest leak
but there is some good stuff there.. that image of the khan of the white scars changing all battle tactics from combat to outflank and the idea of apothecaries wandering around saves me a rather large chunk of my SM lists so I'm fairly happy\relieved.
Anyway read the thread the first few pages are darned infromative. (including throwing the DE draft out cos it was pants and going back to the drawing board )

i only skimmed the thread when i read it earlier, but wasnt that dispute just down to philbrad's definition of an "army list"? (i thought they both agreed that what was in it was a collection of reference/stat sheets, but philbrad was calling them "army lists")

oops oh yeah I read on a bit (theres a lot in there, about 5 pages of the smurf codex with some really nice vital clues)
And it does say either\or for the white dwarf give away and loads of stuff (good thread for a read and a nice entry for those who haven't ventured into the dark forest that is the rumours section yet)

i have a few hopes for this:
- ex-4th ed players will teach the newer crowd the virtues of CP
- the GW site will still include the CP rules (hopefully updated to the most recent version - we have only been waiting 4 years afterall )
- a 5th ed expansion will come out which will include the rules (with new missions etc)

the more of those^ that happen the better!

CP was already something you arranged and agreed upon beforehand anyway (like CoD or Apoc), so it doesnt need to have "official" 5th ed rules for people to carry on playing it just like before (i know i wont stop).

Looks like CP will become a section in an expansion. I can't see it going away. Maybe actually getting worked on more (new missions types for example).
