What's next for Dark Eldar:

Postby KInG » Thu Oct 21, 2010 4:48 pm

Well, as most know, there is a 2nd wave of releases due 20th Nov.The Ravager and Mandrakes amongst them, but what news of the other 20 models not out yet, some of which are brand new to the Eldar Codex.

I was having a chat with 'someone' who mentioned the WD interview with Phil Kelly where he talks about the new model for the Venom ( great news to me :) )... but who also turned my attention to the picture above; the boxset piccie of the Ravager.

I was asked if I had noticed the image of some DE vehcile in the background there.... !!! WOW!!! Surely that has to be something bigger than any Raider or Ravager. It has 3 masts!

I was then asked, "now is that a picture/image.. or is that a piccie of a model?" Grrrr.

What do you guys think. And has anyone else heard anything about the other dex options for DE? :)

I would say that it's just a raider or ravager with 3 sails - artistic license :)

300 was enough for King Leonidas, but unlike out KInG, 1 capital letter was enough for him!

From the little that can be seen in the pic, it looks like an elongated Ravager, with a longer middle section. Its a 'Slick' Ravager and the normal one is the gunship. Dark Eldar are actually 'Nam' vets....

KIng as Leonidas, he needs a Scottish accent and to kill Grendel as well, before he can assume that role.

One of the better venom's I have seen, at least.
Looks pretty straightforward and with some spiky dowhats would be fine!

Unless it's a superheavy (AV 12) superfast skimmer moving flat out (4+ cover save) (assault must roll 6 to hit) that counts as moving at cruising speed for firing and embarking/disembarking troops!

A beard made of cheese!
