Credit..sacks of gold? A jedi needs not these things.. They lead to the hoarding.. hoarding a sense of self leads to ego ego leads to protectionism protectionism leads to ...hang on it leads to me :)
Time to start cutting out my shadow again :)
5minutes of psychobabble to explain a band I still dig.

Since the last dream about eating brain cabbages slowing dylans devlopment freaked y'all out.. here was last nights..
Me and Tim (yeah this tim) were playing ping pong.. on a floor, rather than table, of a hut (scout variety) in front of my old gym teacher (who I never really noticed to be honest I only did Phys ed 12 times my entire time due to my poor attendance).. anyway we were trying to beat each other really hard the ping pong ball was split (making it useless) and for some reason it was really important that we gain his approval for the sake of our offspring..
Now I can say that one is a really typical one about gaining approval from father figures in a face of futility (except I knew the janitor better..a dn I doubt that beating Tim at home made ping pong will alter anyones perceptions of any of us)
So thats the trip inside my brain for the day....what were we talking about again?

That's about Tzeench and you (both) know it!

Just about asleep now...
this took bloody ages, some stuff is a bit arbitrary in where it ended up.
The first bit is there to be replaced with aos blurb and food for thought.

Only numbers have been edited out (and every crappy line had to be moved about), but here is the gt bgb section faq in inat faq order format.

Nighty night.

Should we not make sure that we are not treading on delicate legal ground here?

Surely GW will own the intelectual property to the GT FAQs? I don't know the answer, but I'd recommend someone checks...

im sure ive read somewhere that other events adopt them.

even if it is a problem, we could just say "as per the GT FAQ - except:....". ;)

Yeah, I think that's fine, but if you are producing a searchable database with all/most of the GW GT FAQ on it, then I think you may run into problems...

I like the idea, but not sure if it would fly with GW legals

Would be along the lines of Matt J's warseer unofficial faq (al long as he doesn't mind, haven't asked him yet) and as long as the sources are cited properly, I don't think it would be a problem.

When I was choppy choppying it up, I didn't pay too much notice of the text.
But, as I recall, it would need a fair bit of a re-write possibly so much as to make it unrecognisable.

Additional material etc...we could always drop them a line???

Any issues we think we might have legally, just fire an email off to GW legal and ask them. We cover our backs and they either say yes or no and stop us worrying about if we can or not.

I'm happy to help out so long as I'm not the main co-ordinator this time. I don't really have the time at the moment for that. It does need co-ordination though.

The database is a good idea so long as when you print it you get a well formed and formatted FAQ.

Should be possible, especially since as you said it for "in house" use, not for publication.
