A (hopefully) simple Tyranid question

Postby timewizard » Sun Jun 19, 2011 3:26 am

Played a game against a Tyranid player.

He had a Swarmlord.
Swarmlord has Alien Cunning which says "Whilst the Swarmlord is alive, you must add 1 to any of your reserve rolls."

Q. If the Swarmlord is in reserrve, is it considered to be alive for this rule adding '1' to all reserve rolls?

A: Has the Swarmlord been removed from the game as a casualty? If no, then it is still "alive".

This is similar to the wording of the Autarch and Astropath.

I'd +1 Culven - "alive" means "not dead", in reserve is "not dead", at least until the game ends ;)

He only counts as destroyed (not alive) if he's still in reserve at the end of the game.
