Was wondering if all the FW apoc stuff needs to be updated now. And the old datasheets from gw. Are they still useable because I couldn't find them on their website.

Or is it a case of use anything in new apoc games until they are updated. ???

Pass.. there are actually a few still on the site just missing the links.. a lot have been removed though.
BOLs lounge has just had some bloke link to a pdf resource which still has them, however it has copyrighted stuff all over the place to so go there if you want them

All of the old data sheets and formations are aparently done and in the Pandorax book that came with the collectors edition. So we will have to wait for it to be released at a later date (I'm sure GW confirmed it was coming). The general feel I get from online is that old sheets are viable and formations are free to use, but if they refere to an asset or rule that no longer exists it's ignored. As with all FW and GW stuff if there is a newer version of the rules/data sheet it makes the old one null and void. It's annoyed the shit out of me as I can't use any of my Tau stuff untill I get the second edition Tarros campaign book... I was hoping the units would be in the Apoc book!

FW are releasing an updated Apoc book, will the Tau stuff not be in there?

I've no clue. I've not seen anythign about it.

this apoc release seems to be a bit of a mess so far... just feels incomplete right now.
