Decimator protocols

They state 2 weapons can fire per turn. As bolter and Las cannon option are twin linked does this mean they fire twice?

Thanks

Twin linked just mean you get re-rolls to hit.

Excellent, so 2 Las Cannon shots per turn with re-rolls!

No.

You can fire 2 weapons, not fire one weapon twice.

One lascannon shot with re-rolls and the other weapon.

the model may look like it has two separate weapons, but a lot of the time that just means the weapon can re roll is hit rolls, the two weapons making it twin-linked.

And then sometimes the two weapons mean nothing, like the cyclone missile on a land speeder typhoon or the 'shadowsword' (I think that's their name) missiles on a stormtalon flyer.

So the trick here is not to look at the model and just go by the codex entry in all cases. If Heavy 2 twinlinked, that is 2 shots that you can reroll any misses.

If you have two weapons, like in this case, that are both twin linked, then both can re roll their misses, but they only fire as one weapon would. Heavy bolter fires 3 shots that reroll their misses and the lascannon fires 1 shot and also rerolls any miss.

so firing 2 weapons for a centurian would be(for example) 1 Las Cannon twin linked with re rolls and shots from the chest weapon.
making 2 weapons as per decimator rules
