Harlequins

Postby thesignaller » Sat Jan 31, 2015 1:49 pm

Arghhhh!

Finally got round to ordering a shadowseer for my harlequins last week and now picked up whitedwarf to find them and the death jester are no longer in a troupe!!
(will have to use as a standard harlequin)

also I only have room in my box for 9 and based on new codex got rid of excess figures with fusion pistols, now you can have any number!!

So frustrating!!!

I am going to need to get those rules. Always liked the look of the harlequins.

I've got lots of the original metal ones still waiting for me to paint them.

I've still got the original box of 18 from back in the RT days :)

So old I thought there were 14, but there are actually 18. Post fixed. The Solitaire and High Warlock were some of my favourite figures back in the day.

Imagine the cost of 18 metal GW elite troops and characters today...

Battle sisters troops: basic box: £49.70 (10 models) + 2 blister packs of basic sisters £21.50 (6 models) - sister superior, 2 special weapons, 1 simicralum, 12 basic sisters.
Battle sister canoness £8.20

£79.40 for 17 models. You could go all out and replace the stormbolter special weapon by buying a heavy weapon for another £8.70.

Sisters repentia (elite choice) are a bit better for price, but of course are not much good on the tabletop.

Imperial guard metal guardsmen squads are £20.50 and could count as veterans, so a couple of packs for 20 men £41.

Don't think there are any other metals left.

The old box set of 10 2nd edition Legion of the Damned figures were up to around the £75 mark back before the 5th ed releases. I've been out of the hobby too long to know what metals are still going.

Legion of the damned are now finecast, and work out at slightly over £5 each. The heavy weapons guys and sarge are a wallet busting £9.50 each, even more than the sister single heavies.
I'd forgotten about the the previous metals, unreal price.
