I noticed that the power 'Fear of the Darkness, specifically says that fearless units are immune. Does this mean to say that unless specified in this way all other powers would work on fearless units.

If so, that makes the power Shackle Soul fantastic for hordes of low natural Ld.

I've started a rules thread on this just to see what others think.

ICs cant join non-IC units that can only be fielded as 1 model (however, if a unit can be fielded as 1-3 for example, then an IC can join even if you chose to just field 1 model, or if you fielded 3 models and lost 2).

Its the same thing that stops Farseers from joining Wraithlords.

Your waayy too hung up on kill points.. unless your against deathwing or some other 5 KP army you just have to kick their arse (and against 5 KP LR lists you always just have to annihilate them,).. how is that different.. KP was a big thing when 5th ed came out.. but now its not the be all and end all of list building..you make it slightly easier for your opponent to get last ditch points off the table- in exchange still ,generally, for more firebases, less wasted shots, more cover(as seperates conveying it too each other),more manoeuvrability / redundancy and chances to contest last turn in the other 2, and more waste by your opponent per killpoint (to an extent/overkill,which your opponent sees as a plus)

Only blood boil, which relies on the player already having put a wound on the guy (maybe to keep his ld high) as it only causes 1 wound. Also you have to win the psychic test tremendously.. 2 d have to equal 5 or less (thats fairly rare.. 1+4 1+3,1+2,1+1, 2+3, 2+2, 2+1, 3+2, 3+1, 4+1. Does 10/36 sound about right?(and remember one of those perils the dreadnought) 5/18 Chance in quick scribble math.)

So after winning (IN A KILL POINTS GAME).. this time dawn of war objectives.
Libby with shield (happy with) and preferred enemy (not very happy with) powers in redeemer-100
Super flying dreadnought with might of heros+ extra armour-190

Corbelo you know he's the priest that for 55 points more has rending+1str,+1attack, +1 wound +1 int+1 BS,2+FNP and a reroll anything (god ,demonic gifts wise hes at least 40 points undercosted)
Sanuiary priest with combi melta.(in razorback)

3x5 each with melta in razorback with heavy flamer (3x130=390)
1x5 melta in redeemer with MM and EA- 340
1x5 ASM in drop pod with melta and inferno pistol -125
=1500

Libby constantly 'lite' smoking everything worked well.Sat in landraider with corbelo and 5 man squad If they had charged out at any point it would have been 23 rerolling to hit dice and str5or higher attacks at int 5 or higher. (hence the math of preferred enemy.. but i didn't use it this game.. nor did I use corbelos eye (the duper poooper ace in the hole, for winning first turn or forcing the game to end etc).
Dawn of war..sat with razorbacks on and rest came on as a central wedge.
All units performed well my army was like a ven diagram (floating FC FNP zones and floating 5+ cover zones) neither of which I could get right or use properly (I really do need to learn to spot 6"s.)
LH for fun had taken something similar to my bike list.It didn't work well for him.

But why KMB why a 190 point dreadnought?
AV13 is stunned..EA means I make the 17.5" assualt range and munch bikes. In their turn I enact might of heros.. to finish off the combat when I want it to end.
My turn fly off and charge termies (he managed to fit termies on top of all my bikes !!) He immobilises me (meh I'm locked with the make or break unit anyway..but its minus one attack. I'm stunned I think thats another attack gone according to page 73, ahh but I have EA.. so I keep my attack. his turn I still have 5-1 attacks and kill the termies.
The drop pod should have done something, I sent it to wipe out an attack bike squadron, but he made all his turboboosted saves.And then they got charged by a bike squad and a captain, still it split his advance.Have looked at making it more reliable but a priest with 2nd melta bumps it up another 60..for a throw away unit..yuk.
Vanguard powerfist whilst can fit in (if I drop all the EA) are a smidgeon too late to be of use in this list.
LH conceeded due to buthery by dreads

Fairly happy..going to shelve this one for a while and try a build LH suggested..I think it was a dare.. not sure.

You egg hunter ... lololol Where does it say Corbelo allows u to reroll the 'is there an extra turn dice'.That roll is a mutual roll taken by either player, and therefore not classed a one of YOUR rolls... ;)

Having said that, the libby with the unit who gives them all preferred enemy, I do like and hadn't realised it was the unit, as Meph is only ever one model. So I have to give u that one Toby ;)

If i take a roll.. "any roll you have made"

True, if you make the roll then you coud use the "re-roll any dice roll" corbs has, however as per your wording king, if the other rolled it then you couldnt re-roll, like you cant use it to make them re-roll ds results.

defo an FAQ issue as always with new rules.

Why can't you? The given examples (not limitations) in the paragraph are "a to hit roll, a scatter roll..."
p95 BRB, 2nd paragraph describes Dsing as a "..If you roll a hit..."+ "If a scatter occurs"
Surely its not a matter of can't but more;do you reroll 1 dice (the scatter), or all of them (as LH has pointed out previously.. like twin linked ordinance and storm troopers..it is suggested that rerolling all of them is punitive counter) Meh I'd be happy with either.

And then the courtesy becomes, You may roll for turn 6, I shall roll for turn 7, or some other equitable measure arranged before it becomes clear who it provides a gift too-either side may want a longer or shorter game. (meh people always hand me the dice when they want the cgame to be over becuase they know I can't help but roll a one :D)

Note also the battle missions book specifies which player is allowed when and how the game dice end roll shall be made.. its normally "the enemy/agressor" as a game balance. (mutual :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: )
