How do twin-linked stubbers fair against SM?

Postby Jay » Wed Jul 17, 2013 1:33 pm

As the topic asks, twin linked stubbers on BS 3 against standard SM?

Hitting isnt an issue if its twinlinked at bs 3 so lets assume all 3 hit now its S4 (im guessing) so youd need 4+ again without rerolls youll probably only cause one or two wounds per shooting phase and maybe 1 casulty if you are lucky so truthfully not that a good choice

Bugger, I thought that might be the case. I'm building a DKoK army for 6th and hoped it'd be a decent anti SM choice. Hrmm :(

No. 2 hits, 1 wound 1/3rd unsaved wounds per turn. Interesting against foot slogging hordes, but quite frankly spend your points elsewhere if you're a competitive tournie player. On the other hand, if you like great looking models, buy what you want and don't give a damn. I love the krieg heavy stubber weapon team models.
