WTF is this TAU denial.

A rather common event seems to have occured.
A piece of wargear that gets pieces on guarenteed earlier..has 180'd to now keep all the force off the table until the end of the game.
Sound weird? I believe it is..Mr6 has long since sold up his tau (they didn't auto win agaisnt me) so I haven't faced it.
But who has faced this.. whats it like..what other than shoot the crap out the HQ do you do?.
I thought it was a bit of a joke, saw the rules thread on warseer.. then read a tactical on dakka dakka.. then after about 6 other peeps mentioning it.. I thought I ought to work out what they were talking about.

I like the concept!

I may have to see if I can make tau work (they seem to fit my playstyle better than IG from what I've read...)

I'm not a member, but I can see it, did they go so far as to IP ban you..I gotta ask what did you do?
If your not fully totally and utterly hunted down and ostrasized just clear your cookies\ temp file (losing login details to sites) and see if you can see it then. I might even suggest how to try to modify your IP but Spack may not like that kind of talk.
The gist of it is using the POSITIONAL RELAY backwards..so you bring on token troops for a few turns. then you have your whole army sweep on at the end of the game to win at killpoints and contest objectives.. (apparently very fragile but something to watch for until its faq'd)

Probably won't win capture and control so much that way. But I guess cease ground will depend on how many objective markers you get to put down. Gotta be within capture range for fire warrior devilfishes.

Okay, Battle testing my farsight enclave suit heavy list right now, after two total rapage I might give this Tau denial a try! I am going to throw this positional relay on a lone crisis suit shasvre with the cheapest config.

flamer + positional relay and black sun filter at only 57 points!
