All Quiet On The Martian Front

One of the guys at the club brought in his AQMF figures in tonight that had arrived as part of the huge kickstarter program he pledged to.
Martian tripods are massive and they must stand roughly 6" high and are very well made and paint up a treat. The tanks are really nice and you get loads of spares on the sprues.
Scale is closer to 18mm than 15mm with the infantry standing taller than Flames of War figures.
Rules appear to be pretty straight forward and the larger rulebook has the army lists in the back whereas the mini rulebook doesn't. It also has images of forthcoming releases like the British and there's French and German models to follow but no images for those.
Cgra and myself put an advance order in for the mega pack with an extra big rulebook weeks ago and we are really looking forward to it.
We intend to use Flames of War terrain to start with and we might even have to play a few games using DzC terrain. The tripods just looked so cool in among the buildings.
