We play mainly 40K at Redcar Ironbeards, there is a club in Middlesbrough(see GCN page in White Dwarf)

well actually i go in pc tech every so often to see what they have in stock, and i was talking to the person working there and he asked me if i knew anywhere where he could start a club. also i didnt know if ironbeards was still running as none of the clubs sections on this forum have been used in the last year or so!

Skywalker; I don't mean to be rude, but whats the average age group of everyone in the Redcar Ironbeards? I have been to one or two clubs in the past around here, mainly to find sniveling little kids which didn't know the rules (or didn't seem to care) OR people that liked to cheat-to-win all the time, instead of having a good game no matter the outcome. Kinda put a dampener on the idea of clubs for me...

we have about 5 Kids (12-16yrs) and the remaining 8 regulars range in age from 26 to 47.
Most of the kids are not too bad, there is one who is a know it all.
You aren't being rude, not everyone likes to put up with irritating little brats.
We dont tend to suffer too much from cheaters or power gamers

sounds like a pretty good age grouping of people, i too tend to not want to go somewhere thats full of kids. i might have to pop down to the ironbeards sometime then, im not new to warhamer but ive completely forgot all the rules as ive not played in years, at the moment im getting stuck into painting and modelling my IG army. im not actually from redcar (i live in norton in stockton) but my other half lives in redcar so im there a lot.

I to live in middlesbrough and have been looking for a club that plays warhammer fantasy. I havn't played in some years but i would like to get back into it.

Do you guys play any warhammer fantasy? Me and a friend would love to get playing some warhammer.

We're all starting to get into Warhammer Fantasy at Redcar Raiders so were in the same boat as yourself. Me and TauMaul are having our second game on thursday, Ive never played before (Discounting our first game) and TauMaul has played in the past but not much of the new rules. We have a couple of guys who play it every week but withTauMaul, Bane and myself getting into it we will always have someone willing to play and are looking for more players to play against.
