City & Guilds Marking?

Postby RotweillerofJustice » Wed Nov 06, 2013 10:00 am

Does anyone have experience with gaining professional qualifications with City & Guilds? I completed the 7303 preparing to teach and sent off the portfolio at start of October and was just wondering if anyone knew how long they usually take to turn stuff around and sent it back with the certificate??

Cheers

Got an answer from another forum so I thought for info I would post it here as well just incase anyone else is going through the same thing.

There are two steps to marking a portfolio.

What happens is once all of the work has been completed then the portfolio is sent to the course tutor/assessor who has a maximum of 10 days to mark it and send it back.

Once it has been assessed it then has to be internally verified, again
the internal verifier will have a maximum of 10 days to sign this off.
If the IV is happy then your learning centre can apply for the certificate.
