Just watched the videos with Megan and she decided she'd like to play. We picked the pledge level and then committed.

She's decided kickstarter is a great idea. Her 10 year old brain is now concocting projects she was to put up.

Why not change the name of this thread to "Kickstarters!!"..? The messiness of every new idea getting its own thread.. imagine if I created a new thread for every FFG RPG expansion and FAQ that came out..

I haven't, but you know how kickstarter works.. once you put any money (/emotional commitment-see I strayed into cognitive dissonance again) down you instantly become a coke fiend door to door salesman..I've got 4 friends on FB spamming me with dross about it to make their investment succeed. (because it does look interesting and has earned their dollar..I'm not saying first level infection is a bad thing).

I'm trying to find a place..any place to hide from all this stakeholder gameyness..but the way the model works its infected everywhere a gamer try to relax and hang out.. I was on an MMO last night when some random walked by me and pinged about Mantic.
Imagine your in the bath, your lady is scrubbing your back.. and some neckbeard barges in to tell you your using the wrong brand of toilet roll. I'm close to being at that point where I pick up a flamwaffen.

I'm not backing CW yet, experience tells me that following a KS outside of skim-reading the update e-mails is a waste of time and energy. give yourself an hour or so when it's near to finish and then try and wade through the ridiculously disorganised mass of what the hell you get at each pledge level, what's KS exclusive etc etc and just take the pain in one hit.
